Good rack for ebikes

This rack is heavy which is good, not going to worry that it is going to break going down the highway, but bad when I carry it, i actually use a 2 wheel canoe carrier to move it around, bikes are very stable in the rack, I like the rubber latching straps, and the folding mechanism which has a lock to prevent it from unlatchingFigured out pretty quickly to load the ebikes by lifting the front tire to the end of the rack and then lift the back of the bike as you roll it into position on the rack. The main reason I bought this rack is that one of our bikes is a step through so the way that the center posts of this rack attache to the vertical seat post works well with a step through type bikeI too had two holes in the front tire shoes that did not line up, wondering if i would have swapped the shoes if everything would have matched up, but they have four 3/8 bolts that hold these on so i just left the one out thatWould not line up, you couldn’t knock them off with a stick of dynamite, overall a very nice well built sturdy stable rack.

Wonderful, Great, Best Bike Rack for Ebikes

I delayed while researching bike racks. I should have pulled the trigger on this rack immediately instead of trying to cut corners. It took an hour to put together with a couple tools. It is Heavy but that means it is SOLID. The bottom tracks are aluminum or it would be heavier. I have a 48” wheelbase and 90 pounds f bike. My wife’s bike is about 55 pounds. I can load it all because the rack leans backwards to make it easier to load up. The front wheel has a strap locks in a troth and the rear wheel is against a sliding wheel chaulk on the bottom. It also straps down. The upright bar allows you to clamp the top bar or the upright under the seat post. The only thing I wasn’t excited about was I can’t use my locking hitch pin because they have a bolt that threads through and has a cotter pin. The bolt tightens and keeps the Reese hitch tight and doesn’t rattle so I like it.

Much better than my previous rack!!

I had another rack that was more than double the price of this one, and I was always super nervous while driving because my 2 Specialized Globe Haul ST e-bikes (which are ~70 pounds each) would sway and wobble like crazy on the rack. This rack is MUCH more stable. There are a few design things I wish were a bit different, but for the money, if you have heavy bikes, this works great.Oh, and our bike are step through, so a lot of racks just wouldn't work with them (even if the description said they would!!). The way this attaches to the bikes is much better. Also, I can't comment on someone else's review, however, there is at least 1 star review that has a video of the straps not holding. They are putting the strap in backwards.
